Why We Created Livio?

We believe that achieving a healthier lifestyle that supports your well-being in the long run should be about consistency, not perfection. Many health apps promote an all-or-nothing approach, which often leads to burnout and frustration.

And we all know it's not necessary to stick to every habit every single day. We wanted to create something different—an app that supports sustainable, balanced habits without the pressure of doing everything perfectly every day.

Leo Gestetner

20 years ago, I was almost 250 pounds and about 35% body fat.

A good friend then got me into running, having never done much exercise before!

Fast forward 20 years and I'm under 160 pounds and 12% body fat and running the fastest I ever have, doing half marathons and triathalons.

I've realized I want to build a sustainable lifestyle and longevity — not living longer but living healthy until the end. For me, this journey includes physical, spiritual, emotional, and intellectual health.

I have been a serial entrepreneur for over 30 years and am currently the Co-Founder of Thankz, Zenvoy and Health Capital.

Jenna Gestetner

My whole life, I struggled with undiagnosed chronic health issues. I felt so out of control in my health journey.

I tried many diets and challenges (Keto, 75 Hard, etc) I saw on social media and only felt burnt out. It didn't fit my lifestyle to do 2 - 45 minute workouts a day or eat no carbs

So, I decided to use the science behind why those methodologies work and use them to build habits that do fit my lifestyle. I started implementing habits like walking a mile every morning, drinking enough water, and eating more protein. These habits may seem small, but they had a drastic impact on my life.

Even when my health issues were at their lowest I felt the best about my life because I felt in control of my health. I feel confident every day knowing I am doing everything I can for myself and my health.

Nick Brandt

Originally I was a chef with a deep passion for food, but life had other plans. Over the past 20+ years, I transitioned into the tech world, managing SaaS projects, where my focus has been on leading remote teams and hiring offshore talent.

As Co-Founder and COO of Thankz, I help companies efficiently recruit and manage remote workers. My technical knowledge and love for food and cooking make working with Livio the perfect outlet for my interests.

When I'm not working, I indulge in my passions—travel, photography, art, going to the gym, and, of course, cooking. In the face of the challenges of middle age, like managing my weight, I practice low-carb diets most of the time and remain committed to staying healthy and active.
